things don't come cheap

Talking bout prezzie/rewards to the kids, me and hubs don't really follow their whims and fancy. We won't give whatever they want. Not till they proved to us that they are well behaved and did great in school. Things don't come cheap and they don't come easy. Kids nowadays, as young as 7 yo carry their own fancy handphones and even own an iPad/iPod. My kids don't.  Reason being :-

1. I don't have money trees growing in my backyard. Heheee...
2. I don't want them to feel that their dad and I are easy with dollars and cents.

But of course every parents have their own precious opinion. But for us, we'll stick to our rules. My eldest had her iPod post upsr result. Dad bought her iPod touch (latest gadget in apple store last year) and my son just bought his black piano PSP (dah basi dah in store..hehee) last 3 weeks post upsr result as well. He has been pestering since forever!! but No-No was my answer all these while. He was frustrated but i let him be! We really let him earned his prezzie the hard way! well, he cried when his teacher passed him his result. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw him shedding some tears of happiness when he got his result (well, of course I pon nanges tp x la meraung!! hehehe)..All my hard work and his hard work to keep being positive at last been paid! It's his rezqi. Thanx to Dear Allah. I couldn't ask for more :)

So now, his PSP is safe in his hands....eyes on it most of the time. But there are rules of course, if solat lambat, I will make sure he switches it off or else, PSP will stay in my drawer! and now, he's attending his 3-week camp @ REHAL.  It's not easy to pujuk him to attend the classes, mind you! 3 weeks of Ibadah, Hafazan, and many more...Muga anak2 kita jadi anak solih/solihah hendaknya..Insyaallah.

This gift is not expensive but I am glad that we bought him something that he likes most. He deserves this after months of hard work :)
