I still remember how fun it was when my school had its canteen day some 20 years ago! we bought things using coupons but of course we had to buy those tiny lil' coupons with real money! hehehe..oh, how i miss those good old days.
*this was my secondary school. Girls school. Go, go ZS!! :))
what has brought back my memories? well, my kids' school had its mini carnival day last weekend and my 7yo daughter had been very excited from the first day her teachers had asked her to buy the coupons! we gave her RM10 for a set of coupons but the very next day she forked out her own RM 10 from her pretty pink coin purse which she normally hide it only-God-knows-where! obviously, it was contagious! her friends thought that 10 bucks were not enough and so did she! :))
so there we were on last sunday armed with a camera and two tiny coupons..hehe...bought things the kids wanted and did some sand arts (yet againnn!!)..here's some pics of us on a scorching hot sunday!

* they had big inflatable bouncers!! interesting but i didn't allow them to go on it and that led to pouty moments :)
sofie was the one who extremely happy. showed us all around her school (like we never been there before! hehee) and telling us great things bout her school (like there's no other good school around! hehe)....they went home with a big smile :) having fun is their middle name :)))
